In recent weeks I have shared a couple of my favorite Protein Powder recipes from Trainer Lindsey. Today I am going to share her No Bake Protein Cookie Bars. This recipe is simple and easy to make. The cookies/bars are super satisfying and taste amazing! You can whip these up in less than 5 minutes. So let’s get started.
1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
1 Scoop Chocolate Brownie Ideallean Protein
1/3 Cup Oats
1-2 Tablespoons Almond Milk (or just enough to be able to stir the ingredients together)
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Pour into a small greased bowl. Shape as desired. I have tried both pressing it flat to the circle at the bottom of the bowl which makes a nice cookie, and shaping it into a rectangle like a bar. I don’t have a shape preference. Both are good in my opinion. Freeze for 2-3 hours or until firm. Take out of the bowl and eat immediately or wrap in saran wrap and eat later. Keep in the freezer until ready to eat. Thaw slightly before eating. The cookie will thaw quickly. This recipe makes one cookie/bar. Prep 5 or 6 for the week and keep in the freezer individually wrapped in saran wrap for the perfect afternoon snack.
Those of you that have been reading my blog know that I am a BIG advocate for Trainer Lindsey’s 6 Week Fit Body Challenge. After 40, my body stopped responding to fitness and diet the way it once did. I tried many routines and diets with little change. I was about to give in and blame it on pre-menopause and my aging metabolism. I was starting to think cosmetic surgery was my only hope. Then I came across Lindsey’s program on Facebook and decided to give it a try. It has worked for me. I am very happy with the plan. The workouts are short and effective. The meal plan is easy to follow. Ideallean Protein is the best tasting protein I have tried.
